Santella, an applied health services researcher and evaluator specializing in HIV/AIDS, STDs, and sexual health with over two decades of experience in academia, government, and the private sector, a public health consultant, and an Associate Professor of Public Health at Hofstra University, will speak on health literacy, the problems that arise when it is low, especially in underserved communities, and the resources already in place, that will provide assistance to those struggling.
