THE NASSAU COUNTY MEDICAL SOCIETY AT A GLANCE
A Distinct Identity
The Nassau County Medical Society knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions of our initiatives. Back in1957, our Non-Profit Organization realized that by working together we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch The Nassau County Medical Society.
NASSAU ACADEMY OF MEDICINE
The Nassau Academy of Medicine's mission is to improve skills and educate our current and future physician leaders. We strive to offer the most up to date information in research, techniques and technology. We also partner with local and statewide experts to provide continuing education to our members and their staff.
It is the goal of The Nassau County Medical Society and The Nassau Academy of Medicine to be an on-going resource to our community. By providing educational seminars, focus groups, virtual and in-person events that will offer health literacy, guidance and support to anyone who needs it, we hope to be the partner our community can utilize.
The Nassau County Medical Society works closely with our private practice doctors and state associations to put our priorities in the forefront, and get results. It’s the support of our NCMS members who make victories possible.
At The Nassau County Medical Society, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing the issues important to you. Implementing change is by no means an easy feat, but through cooperation and community empowerment we believe we can facilitate progress in this area. We are always striving to make a difference, and invite you to learn more, get involved and lend your support.
